Hoover Tempo Widepath Bagged Vacuum

Good vacuum

Strengths: Low price, works well

Weaknesses: Not good for hard floor

Summary: I am looking for a relatively cheap vacuum with good suction. At first I looked into bagless ones, but they are over $100 and not easy to clean. So I decided to choose an old-fashioned bagged vacuum, and I don't want to empty dirt cups or change filters.

This vacuum works great. It is light and powerful. One disadvantage I've experienced is the noise, but that's fine since I won't use it for a long time. And it does not work very well on the hard wood floor. Overall, it is a good buy.

It sucks very well. :) Excellent all around vacuum.

Strengths: Great suction. Not too heavy to move around house. Suction works VERY well with attachment!

Weaknesses: It would be great if a little lighter.

Summary: It almost feels as if it were self-propelled on carpet. Compared to my old Eureka Boss Plus, it was a lot easier to operate. After vacuuming the carpet, it's almost as if the carpet is given a new life or alive again. No longer did it feel stiff. It's fresh again.

It's definitely a worthy vacuum.

I would buy it again. Extremely highly recommended.

This vacuum sucks!

Strengths: Great pick up...it feels like I'm walking on a brand new carpet everytime I vacuum.

Weaknesses: The construction is a little flimsy...what do you expect from plastic.

Summary: All in all the vacuum picks up with ease. The wide head does not allow for maneuverability into tight spaces and corners. This is a good deal for the price if you're looking for something that sucks well.

Hoover Tempo U5140900 Vacuum Cleaner

Strengths: Excellentl to clean carpets and floors, Light weight, bag easy to change.

Weaknesses: Screws to fasten handle to main body not long enough to reach the nuts.

Summary: For a basic vacuum this is an excellent machine and has a very good price compared to others. This vacuum cleans as good as my $300 vacuum. Will probably buy another just for the us stairs area.

Hoover Tempo U5140900

Strengths: Great suction power, plenty of on board tools, very powerful, yet fairly quiet, nice headlight, bag full indicator and floor hight adjustment., really cleans well.

Weaknesses: none that I can see. especially not at this price. makes you wonder why anyone woudl pay hundered more for an oreck or some other brand.

Summary: Easy to put together, just 2 screws. came with several on board tools and brushes, and even an extra bag, - one already installed in the vaccum. Great value for under $70 bucks. why would anyone pay more. the purchase through ABT Electronics is outstanding. their customer phone number and staff were great, answered quickly, ordered the product on monday and bingo it was delivered on the right day by UPS on Friday. Everything in life should work this good, would def, buy from ABT again. While this is only a simple vacuum cleaner, hope a more substantial purchase from ABT would go equally as well. Excellent.

Hoover Tempo

Strengths: Price, weight, suction and overall value.

Weaknesses: Noise and shorter cord.

Summary: I would highly recommend this vacuum for those who are in need of once minus the frills and on a budget. It replaced a 10 year old Hoover as well and has certainly done an excellent job. The only drawback is that the bags are somewhat small and may fill quickly but it simply does what it's suppose to do. Do not hesitate on purchasing this item.

Excellent Vacuum

Strengths: Outstandnig suction

Weaknesses: Hose extension could be longer

Summary: I shopped extensively for a new vacuum. This one is the best model if you're looking to spend less than one hundred dollars. It works great. It pulled deeply embedded dirt out of my carpet.

Tempo U5140900

Strengths: Price, good at picking up surface dirt.

Weaknesses: Loud, especially when using attachments. Attachment hose too short for using attachments.

Summary: We picked up this vacuum for a second apartment because of its high rating on cleaning carpets in Consumer Reports and the price. It does a good job in picking up the dirt that you can see. We live in an arid place where there is a lot of fine sand and cannot tell how well the machine is doing with this type of dirt. When finishing vacuuming, fine dust clings to the machine surface, probably due to static electricity. Usually, we end up wiping down the machine with a damp cloth. For a second inexpensive vacuum for quick cleaning on carpets, it does extremely well.

Good Vacuum

Strengths: A lot of suction power for a relatively cheap vacuum

Weaknesses: Hoses are kind of short

Summary: I'm very pleased with this vacuum I got this for just over $60 and its well worth it. This is not a top of the line vacuum, but if you want a budget vacuum that cleans carpets this is it. It has a light on the front to help you see in dark corners and the vacuum itself weights very little (relatively). I would definitely recommend this if you are not interested in spending over $200 on a vacuum

great vacuum for the price

Strengths: price, sucktion power

Weaknesses: noise

Summary: This is a great vacuum less than $100. The on ly complaint I have if nothing else is that it is a bit noisy. I will recommend this vacuum to anyone. Best Deal!!!

Hoover Upright model # U5140900

Strengths: Great power. Great price.

Weaknesses: short cord..could have been a little longer

Summary: Just picked this up and used it. I have to get used to using an upright (previously had a canister) seems to be a little bit heavier than my previous vacuum. I definately know it cleans better. The Hoover upright performed wonderful. Can't believe that it performs so well for the price I paid for it. Read previous reviews and they were all positive. Hope it last as long as my last vacuum but for the money you can afford to replace it in a couple of years.
